I am who I am. No matter what you do or say, I will never change for you... You don't have to care, all you have to do is shut up and read!
Haven't been blogging these few days due to one reason or another. so I'm going to compile three entries into one here.
Finally I'm back from Malaysia and I've got to say, my perception of Malaysia has improved but not much. The good point is that there are a lot of good food there and it's cheap. Furthermore, most of the people there are more open than Singaporeans will ever be. There are also a lot of nice shops there that offer nice and good quality clothings and stuff at cheap prices. However, their road system is atrocious as the drivers do not give way at all and there are constantly jams all over the place as there's no proper planning. The signs in the shopping malls are also very confusing. However, there are a lot of hot babes in KL and their dressing are mostly punk rockish, it must be the latest fad there! In one of the shops that I went into, I saw this hot emo girl whose dressing was damn stylish. I guess that's all to say about my short trip.
Work on Wednesday was quite fucked up. Before the dinner, I thought that it was going to be fun but the cocktail was very busy and it didn't help that I was working at the main bar. I was opening wine for like 2 hours straight and the VIP wine was metal foil so at some point, I cut my thumb and I didn't realise it until I saw blood dripping on the ice trolley. Anyway, I saw a rare sight that day, I saw a 5 litre bottle of red wine, it was damn huge and heavy and it was a pity I didn't take a picture of it. Anyway, the dinner was going smoothly until the jackass Raymond showed up. He kept going into the bar and counting the wine and kept giving us orders. I got shouted at for no reason. A guest requested me to fill up his glass with red wine and when he saw that, he said and I quote "Is this the standard at Suntec?" I mean we can't say NO to the guet and when I told him that, he just kept shouting NO without listening. I really felt like punching him that instance. He didn't trust us and kept coming into the bar to count the wine and nearing the end of the dinner, we told him that some wine was unaccounted for but he didn't believe so he said he will find it but i the end he couldn't so he just said never mind to cover up his embarrassment. The whole banquet couldn't stand him too and mike was also very angry with him.
Work on Saturday was quite fun and easy as I did a cocktail at 603 for the Garden Festival and it was really more like a house party for the guests as they brought in their own music, food and new wine was constantly being brought in so in the end, we had more than 13 different kind of wines. I really can't stand indecisiveness, if you planned to do something, just do it so for thi reason I was damn pissed with Dillion after work.
I'm just back from my friend's house for what he called a Christmas celebration but as I don't believe it Christmas anymore, I will just call it a gathering. Does not believing in Christmas make me worship Satan and become Satanic? Why can't I have the freedom to choose what I want? If you look around you, you clearly can't see the true Christmas spirit anymore and what are we as Singaporean or different doing celebrating the birth of son of 'GOD' of another religion? Does things always have to be either Black or White? Why can't there be a Grey area?I've truly lost faith in human as we exploit everything that we can for our own gain like Christmas.
